El Paso Mental Health and Mental Retardation (MHMR) recently created Veteran’s Rally Point, an outreach program designed to help veterans learn about mental health issues and treatments. The program, which began in July, uses peer-to-peer and family-to-family models to address issues. The program is tied into MHMR’s other military services such as screening, liaison services, and mental health first aid.
