El Paso Mental Health & Mental Retardation has opened its El Jardin Greenhouse at 8281 North Loop. The garden is part of MHMR's Sunrise Autism Program, the only day habilitation program designed for adults with autism in El Paso County. It helps people who have autism function as meaningfully and independently as possible by building on individual strengths, interests and needs. The project was funded by contributions from the El Paso Community Foundation, the Hervey Foundation and Home Depot.
