The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has appointed five new members to the Bank’s Eleventh District Advisory Council, including Henry Hernandez, CEO of Las Palmas Medical Center, Las Palmas LifeCare Center and the Las Palmas Rehabilitation Hospital in El Paso. The Advisory Council meets to discuss economic activity and business conditions in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District—Texas, northern Louisiana and southern New Mexico—and provide insight to Dallas Fed officials.
Hernandez was a founding member of the National Forum for Latino Healthcare Executives and has been a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives since 1989. He completed the USA-Baylor residency program at William Beaumont Army Medical Center and retired in April 1994 holding the rank of lieutenant colonel.
