The TTUHSC Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing has announced that 44 brand new traditional undergraduate BSN program students are expected to attend a one-day new student orientation this August. The new students are the second cohort to be admitted to the BSN program. Their expected graduation date is December 2013 because they are being admitted as junior level students with 57 hours of pre-requisite college credit.
In terms of new hires, the nursing school has welcomed three new faculty members over the past two months. They are nursing instructor Sandra Imperial, assistant professor Troy Palmer and assistant professor Betty A. Dement. This brings the total number of faculty at the Hunt School of Nursing to seven educators.
