HHS wants nominations for steering committee

The Office of Minority Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is requesting nominations for membership in the National Steering Committee for Promotores de Salud. The 15-member National Steering Committee, in collaboration with the Federal Workgroup for Promotores de Salud/CHWs, will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance in the development and implementation of a newly established National Initiative for Promotores de Salud focused on Latino/Hispanic populations.
