Free UTEP engineering & science camp

The University of Texas at El Paso will offer one session of the ExciTES Summer Institute free of charge to participants. ExciTES camps seek to create awareness of the diverse fields of engineering and science and to encourage participants to attend college. The free camp, offered through UTEP’s College of Engineering, will be sponsored by a state agency. Session V for ages 14-17 will be free of charge to participants. Registration is normally $175 per student per week. The session will align with business needs of industry clusters. Topics include advanced technologies and manufacturing, aerospace and defense, biotechnology and life sciences, information and computer technologies, and energy. The session has limited capacity and immediate registration is suggested.
