Dr. Marc Orlandi, board certified anesthesiologist, is the Chief Pediatric Anesthesiologist for El Paso Children’s Hospital. Hired in March, Dr. Orlandi came to El Paso Children’s Hospital from Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso.  He conducted his residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio and his specialty training in Pediatric Anesthesia at Akron Children’s Hospital in Ohio and Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Md. He brings more than 13 years of experience as a pediatric anesthesiologist and has worked at Akron Children’s Hospital, ranked a Best Children’s Hospital by U.S. News and World Report. As Chief Pediatric Anesthesiologist for El Paso Children’s Hospital, Orlandi is in charge of the needs of the operating rooms, MRI and procedures for the patients in Hematology/Oncology. Under Dr. Orlandi are anesthesiologists:  Dr. William B. McIlvaine, Dr. Tom Poulton, and Dr. Vera Barbosa. 

     McIlvaine is a diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada. Dr. McIlvaine most recently came to El Paso Children’s Hospital from the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Poulton came to El Paso from Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Barbosa came to El Paso Children’s Hospital from Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
