The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, in collaboration with agencies across the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, has released two reports: the 2009 National Healthcare Quality Report and the 2009 National Healthcare Disparities Report. These reports measure trends in effectiveness of care, patient safety, timeliness of care, patient safety, timeliness of care, patient centeredness, and efficiency of care and also present the latest available findings on quality of and access to health care.
